About Twitch - Located in Ivanhoe
Hello there! I'm Twitch, the enchanting feline with a heart as soft as my medium-length coat. My tail, a feather duster of magnificence, and my ear tufts, glorious as can be, make me a vision of elegance. If you're on the lookout for a cat companion for your current feline friend, look no further—I'm the perfect match.
Sweet and gentle are my middle names, and I thrive in the company of fellow cats. Socializing with my furry friends is my forte, and I've seamlessly integrated into my foster home where I share the love with other felines and even two small dogs. Yep, I'm a social butterfly, or should I say, a social kitty!
Now, let me share a little secret with you—I'm named Twitch not just for show, but it reflects my nature. I might take a little time to settle into a new home, but hey, good things come to those who wait, right? An understanding adopter who appreciates that I won't be instantly comfortable in a new environment is just what I need.
I've proven my adaptability and love in my foster home, where I've become a loving and playful girl. I believe I'd thrive best in a quieter adult home, surrounded by patient and caring individuals who appreciate the beauty of a slow-blossoming friendship. I promise, once I feel at home, my affectionate and playful side will shine, making your home brighter and cozier.
So, how about considering me for a permanent spot in your heart and home? I'm eagerly waiting for a loving soul to give me the home I truly deserve. Let's embark on this beautiful journey together!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
