About Charlie ππΆπ
Hi Iβm Charlie and Iβm a 10 week old Labrador mix.
Iβm currently in care with some amazing other dogs which range from small breed up to XL.
I get along great with all of them and we have so much fun during the day. The bigger boys are teaching me manners, as I can be a bit annoying sometimes (but donβt all little siblings π€·ββοΈ).
My foster mum says Iβm learning really quickly and she tells me Iβm such a good boy.
I have been thinking about what I really want in my forever home and since I love hanging with my foster siblings so much I think my forever home must have a doggy companion. Donβt get me wrong I LOVE my people and mum even says I can be a bit of a sooky boy if I want cuddles, but I think having a doggy companion would keep me entertained throughout the day, especially if my people were out working.
I have had slow introductions to the resident cats and I think Iβm doing pretty well.
I just have to concentrate on not getting so excited around them, as they donβt really like it that much. I donβt think cats really like to play lol.
As Iβm still a pup Iβm sure with some guidance I would adapt to most situations.
Currently my foster home has older children but I have been around the younger ones from time to time. I just need reminding of my manners while around the smaller kids as if Iβm a bit excited I can be a little jumpy. We are working on that currently and Iβm really starting to listen, I will need my new home to continue with this if there are young children in my new home.
I love to please my people and Iβm a really quick learner. I will need my new family to continue to teach me things along the way so I can become a well rounded adult.
Iβm working hard on my toilet training aswell, Iβm currently using a grass pee mat which is helping me not to have accidents inside.
I would love to go on adventures on the weekends as Iβm a very social pup. And spending time with the family would just be the best thing ever.
So what are you waiting for? Can you offer what Iβm looking for? If you can then hurry up and apply as I canβt wait to meet my forever family.β€οΈ
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
