About Kayleigh
Adoption Fee: $300
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form as follows:
* From the PetRescue website please click on this link: https://safe.org.au/find-a-cat/animal/byc4148/
* On the SAFE website, click on 'Apply to Adopt'.
Kayleigh is a sweet little girl who has had a bit of a tough start in life and is now looking for her loving home. She is still getting used to being held, but she will let you cuddle for a short time before dashing off to find something interesting to do! Kayleigh can be shy, but is still a playful, curious and energetic kitten. She will sneak on a bed at night time and have a sleep with you and is getting used to kids.
She's not a big fan of dogs, but could potentially adapt with more, positive interactions ifyouhaveafriendly, calm dog.
Kayleigh is a little sweetie and should be a lovely addition a loving home.
* If you already have pets in your home, a reminder that meeting new dogs and cats can be scary for a kitten, so a slow and gradual introduction is a must.
* Please apply by completing the SAFE application form from our website or the link above.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
If adopting a kitten under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
