About Chunky
Chunky is just living that "cute face, chubby waist" life.
This boy is super cute... and is definitely worth owning.
At 5 years old and weighing almost 6 kilos, Chunky is so ready to be the lap cat you have always wanted.
Not a fan of other cats and wants all the human attention he can get, we are looking for a home for Chunky with a family who can just love and adore him just as much as he will them.
Kids who are over the age of 6+ would be ideal for this boy, and kids who understand that he will need time to settle in before picking him up and carrying him around everywhere. Once he is settled I'm sure he would like to play babies and dress up.
Such a stunning looking boy, how can you scroll past him.
To book a meet and greet with Chunky please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
