- Large indoor space, possible free flight (hand tame bird) or weather proof outdoor aviary (photo required at adoption)

- Other cockatiels considered

- Older Children/Teens considered

Meet Doc and Peter!!

These two fine gentlemen came to the shelter came to the shelter after their loving owner was sadly unable to care for them any more. After spending some time here they are now ready take flight and find their forever home.

Peter is the more confident of the two and will happily step up onto your hand and serenade you with his beautiful singing voice. Doc will also join in the musical number although he would prefer it if his feet stayed firmly on his perch as he finds hands a bit intimidating, but with some time and patience he may be willing to climb up onto your shoulder.

Doc has had some not so positive experiences with young kids in the past so we are recommending that any kids in the house be a bit older and can understand his boundaries.
