About Sir Captain Crunch
Sir Captain Crunch would like these requirements in his new home.
- A playful desexed doggy companion.
- Humans to be available for cuddles.
- He loves meeting people
- People who have understanding of puppy behavour.
- Owners able to provide training around lead walking and manners.
- He would love to go on adventures.
- An inside/outside lifestyle and to be able to sleep inside.
Sir Captain Crunch Aka Crunchie likes to explore the backyard to see what he can find to chew or eat. At 12 weeks he is about the size of a Jack Russel and is still growing but we don’t expect him to be a large dog, more on the small size of medium. He is a big character in a smaller body. He is living with his foster brother who is a JRT and loves to play tug with her which then usually turns into a play rolling about session. Crunchie’s other favourite thing is cuddles and he is a great size for coach cuddles of an evening to relaxing before bed.
Sir Captain Crunch is super friendly to all he meets and isn’t shy at all. He is great with kids and the elderly but like all puppies can be a bit nippy and jumpy, so care is needed around them, and ongoing training will also help. He is a typical fun, confident, loving pup, and like all pups will need training to walk well on lead, and recall etc. He travels well in the car and is happy to sit on the seat and look around. He recognises the words No, and did you do that? Lol he is a checky fella.
He is making good progress with toilet training and if he has regular access to outside will remain accident free.
Sir Captain Crunch, is currently sleeping in the lounge room in a play pen of a night and he is happy with his bed, toys and blanket in there until the morning, when he is very excited to see you.
Sir Captain Crunch is ready to find his forever home to share his wonderful character and love. He is a great dog as he loves to follow you everywhere and always on your heels.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy.
