About Pip - 2 Year Old Border Collie (Trial)
Have you been looking for the perfect dog? A smiley dog? A bed cuddles dog? A smooch and have pats all day long dog? Then, Pippi is your gal!
Pip is a 2 year old red Merle Border Collie who came into foster care pregnant. Now that her mothering days are behind her, she’s ready to find a home where she can relax, play and be loved like she deserves.
Pip currently lives with young children and has always been extremely gentle and patient, lapping up their affection. She adores people, and would thrive in a household where people are home more often and will take her on outings - did I mention she loves car rides! Pip is a water baby - rivers, lakes, dams you name it - if it’s got water in it, she’ll be in there, bouncing around with a huge smile on her face!
Pip enjoys playing with other dogs - she can be dominant in her play style but is generally very dog friendly. Due to her natural herding traits, she unfortunately isn’t suited to a home with pocket pets, chickens etc. Pip will require secure fencing as she has been known to enjoy a dig and explore of the outside world!
Pip has been learning manners whilst in care, she knows sit, down and has amazing recall. She loves going for walks and is learning to walk in a straight line, sometimes the smells and distractions are just too irresistible though! Haha.
If you’re looking for a family friendly, active (but with an off switch) and extremely affectionate medium sized dog, who just also happens to be the prettiest gal in town, then look no further!
Pip is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW. Her adoption fee is $700. She has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
