Hello, I'm Joe, the pink cockatoo! My crest is as full of life as my personality! I love lots of enrichment to keep my mind (and beak) busy, chewing up sticks and branches is only the best thing ever for a cockatoo like me. I might be a little nervous and unsure of new people (and other birds) at first, a professional avian behavior consultant could probably help both you and me out a lot, but I really would love to spend some time getting to know you. And time is something I'll have a fair bit of since I'm roughly 40 years down with another 20-30 years to go! Having my own room would be an absolute dream, as we all appreciate our own quiet space to retreat to - but if you've also got a bit of room in your backyard for an outdoor aviary, then I'd love to check that out too! Or even better, as a wise woman once said - por que no los dos? (Why not both?) m on a healthy diet of veggies and pellets, and you'll need a Recreational Wildlife License to take me home.
