About Athena
Get ready to meet the divine Athena, a feline companion who is not only beautiful but has a heart made of gold. This magnificent lady has a heart as big as her spirited personality, nurturing not just her own kittens but another litter in need, proving her unwavering nurturing instincts.
Now that her maternal duties are fulfilled, it's high time for Athena to enjoy some much-needed relaxation with a loving family of her own. She is an expressive lady with delightful quirks, all which make her truly one of a kind.
While Athena exhibits loving and caring behaviour, it's important to note that she prefers to be the queen of her castle. She can be selective about her feline friends and would likely thrive best in a home where she can reign as the only cat.
Children, on the other hand, are certainly welcomed by Athena. She is incredibly patient, and her gentle demeanor is perfect for families with youngsters.
Her interaction with dogs hasn't been closely tested yet, but with her adaptable and open nature, Athena is sure to adjust smoothly.
Medical notes
Due to nation wide vaccine shortage for cats, Athena has not been vaccinated.
She will need a vaccine when the supply is back up and running in Australia which could be around March 2024
Adoption details
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal aswell.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption and if all goes well that same day, they can adopt on the spot and take home to begin the next chapter together.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
