💕 Introducing Simba 💕

HOUSEHOLD- Simba is the cutest nugget who wants to be with her people. She adores everyone and would be the best companion for someone needing a friend to bond with and share their life together.

Simba is super loving and will need to have access inside of her new home so she can spend time with her family.

ON-GOING TRAINING- Simba is very attentive and does enjoy most food treats offered to her. She has a few basic obedience skills such as sit, stay and come, but she would benefit from some on-going training to help her cement a bond with her new family and keep her good manners going.

ON LEAD- Simba is mostly gentle on the lead. From excitement she may jump up but she listens to her handler and is easily corrected. She looks for guidance regularly, checking in and stays close by your side.

Simba also loves opportunities being on a long lead which gives her freedom to sniff and explore.

PLAY/TOYS- While at our shelter Simba has shown interest in playing with soft toys. Once she is settled in a new home we would recommend offering her a variety of toys and trialling different games at home to see what she enjoys.

OTHER DOGS- Simba has met a number of dogs whilst in care at the facility. Initially she can be a bit weary but once introduced she relaxes and wants to initiate play. She is friendly and has nice manners.

CATS/OTHER ANIMALS- With cats
Simba displayed brief interest when we walked her through our cattery, then she turned her attention to her handler. Throughout the time she spent with them, Simba remained calm and non caring, therefore we believe Simba maybe able to be rehomed with a resident feline.

CAR RIDES- Simba copes very well in a car and showed minimal signs of stress.

GROOMING/CARE - Simba loves any sort of handling. She has short coat which will make her basic care needs very straight forward.

EXERCISE- Simba can be a little reluctant at first to explore the outdoors. With support from her handler, Simba recovers well and enjoys being in different environments. Simba loves opportunities to swim and frolic in pools of water during her outdoor adventures, she has the best time.

Simba's $450 adoption fee covers: microchipping, lifetime registration, desexing, current vaccination, flea & worming treatments.
