Thyri came into care one scared little girl. She has blossomed into a beautiful, loving companion. She loves to play, and enjoys chasing the laser light and will even chase the flies she spots in the house. She takes off with her carer's balls of yarn, and even play fights with her slippers!

Thyri can find the most unusual places to sleep sometimes, but this winter she's craving a warm lap or a fluffy blanket to sleep on. She will sleep on your lap and next to you in bed. She is extremely food motivated and is unapologetically spoilt now, hehe. She lets you know when she is hungry (which is all the time, especially when you walk into the kitchen it seems!). She is very appreciative of affection but will usually gravitate to one person in the house.

Thyri is great with the other cats and elderly dog she is fostered with. She is not suited to young children as she doesn’t like being grabbed at or picked up. She has not grasped the concept of walking in front of you and darts around, so can be a bit of a trip hazard and care is needed. She is litter trained.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
