About Katz
Katz is a real head-turner!
This beautiful girl has stunning markings that attracts a lot of attention wherever she goes. She has an equally beautiful nature as she is gentle and very sweet. Katz loves all people that she meets and is always up for cuddle time. She loves curling up with her foster family on the couch in the evenings to watch TV. Katz seeks you out when she’s tired, so she has someone to nap alongside. This little girl is playful and inquisitive. She curiously explores the yard and enjoys playing with plush or tope toys. Katz is a gorgeous soul who will bring a lot of happiness to her new home.
Katz is currently in foster care with two adult dogs. She enjoys their company and loves to play with them. You can often find her playing bitey face and chasies with the others around the yard. Katz’s new family will need to provide her with regular socialisation with other dogs throughout her life. This would ideally be in the form of playdates with known friendly dogs in a controlled environment. Katz is expected to grow to a large size (possibly around 25-30kg) and be relatively active. She will need daily exercise and mental stimulation throughout her life to keep her happy and healthy.
While in foster care, Katz has begun her basic training. She is a smart girl who is willing to learn. Katz can already sit on command and wait for her food. She is progressing well with her lead walking but is still new to the big wide world and does best with some supportive guidance to give her confidence. It is vital that Katz’s adopters are committed to her ongoing training to ensure she becomes an excellent example of a good canine citizen. She is working on her crate and toilet training, but these should be continued in her new home. Katz travels well in the car and would love to tag along with her new owner on trips and fun adventures.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Katz where she will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She would do best in a home with another adult dog who is friendly and well-trained so that they can be a good role model for her. Katz is currently doing best with the company of another dog when her carer is not home. If she were to live as an only dog, her owner should be experienced and have the capacity to slowly build her independence and ability to be home alone. Katz should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
Katz is young enough to learn to live harmoniously with other types of pets with the appropriate training and guidance. She would be ok to live older or very dog savvy children who will not be too overbearing for her. Katz will need a house with a yard for her new home so no unit applications please. She will thrive in a home who can build her confidence in new environments and really integrate her within the family. Katz will be a wonderful and loving new member of the family.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
