About Winnie
Say hello to Winnie, a super sweet white and ginger cat with a lot of love to give. Winnie has shown a lot of bravery and confidence after settling into her foster home quickly, and is the definition of a sweetheart. She thoroughly enjoys head bumps, smooches and snuggling under the covers with you. If you can't find her around the house, you'll more than likely find her burrowed under the duvet having a cat nap.
Winnie is a master chef at making biscuits, she'll even make them as she's following you around, sitting upright, or stretching up to peek at what you're doing on the kitchen counter. As much as she loves keeping you company around the house and cuddling up with you, she also loves her down time, often taking herself off to bed or spending time gazing out the window chatting to the birds – she even props up her front left foot when she is super curious.
One of Winnie's favourite things is her soft toys; especially when they're sprinkled with some catnip. She'll spend some time kicking, biting and rolling around with them by herself, but loves playing with you, particularly when bunkered down in her cardboard box.
One of the best things about Winnie is how gentle, quiet and open to love she is. She's not super chatty but will give you some soft purrs when she's very happy. She's also not very food oriented, but loves to graze and of course loves a cheeky treat. Winnie would thrive in a home where she can enjoy her independence as well as some snuggle sessions with her human buddies.
If you're seeking a loving, cuddly and sweet kitty, then Winne might be the feline for you!
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
