About Coco
ASSISTED REHOMING
Happy and loving Staffy…
From Owner:
It is with great sadness and regret that we need to look for a loving family for Coco. This is no fault of her own and is due to a marriage breakdown and living arrangements.
Coco is used to living on an acreage property with 1.2 metre fences and an electric perimeter in place to keep her safe. We do believe she will adapt to suburban living.
Coco is 7 years old, microchipped, up to date with flea, tick and worming and vaccinations.
Coco is very loving with people including children. She would love someone home more often than not. Coco is frightened of storms so will need to have access to indoors to keep her calm during those times. She enjoys playing with the Neighbour’s dog along the fence-line.
Coco has only ever been with one other dog but we believe with the correct introduction, she could live with a friendly male dog. She would also be happy as an only dog.
Coco has not been cat tested.
ASSISTED REHOMING
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal. AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation from the successful applicant (of their choosing) to AINB in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred.
Please include all relevant information in your application, including fencing, other pets, children and ages etc.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
