About Jaffa
Jaffa is a stunning girl who is ready to take on life with her new owner. At home, she is an outgoing personality who loves to explore the garden and play. Her favourite things to do is play tug of war with a rope toy or chew on a chew bone. When she has finished having lots of fun, she can often be found curled up with someone on the couch taking a well-deserved nap. Jaffa enjoys hanging out with her foster family and loves to get pats, cuddles and attention. She greets visitors to the home with a happy grin and waggy tail.
Jaffa is a super cute little pup who is going to grow into a stunning looking adult dog. She is very unique with her pretty tan and white markings but also a scruffy coat which her mum also had (last picture is one of her mother). We expect her to grow to a medium size (around 20-25kg at a guess). Jaffa is a relatively active puppy who will require daily exercise and mental stimulation in her new home. She thrives off structure and routine which involves periods of enforced crate rest to keep her from becoming overstimulated and getting up to mischief.
While in care, Jaffa has been living with two Labradors. She loves wrestling and playing chasies with the labs but also snuggling up on the couch with them. Jaffa will require regular socialisation with other dogs in her new home. This would ideally start with a puppy preschool and continue with playdates with other known friendly dogs. Jaffa will also need to learn to disengage regularly with play and have time out so that she understands how to play appropriately with other dogs as she grows.
Jaffa is a smart girl who is food motivated. She has started her basic training in her foster home and making good progress. She is getting the hand of toilet training and is sitting for a treat. Her new owners will need to be committed to continuing her training and directing her energy into positive behaviours and interactive games. Jaffa is yet to explore the big wide world since she has just been vaccinated so her new family will need to ensure she is gradually exposed to new experiences in a positive manner.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Jaffa where she will be a loved member of the family. She can live in a home with another friendly and playful dog who is already full trained and ready to be a good role model for her. Otherwise, she is fine to live as an only dog as long as her owners are dedicated to transitioning her well to this lifestyle and have sufficient time to meet her physical and mental needs. Jaffa is currently living with older children and is suitable for a home with dog savvy children. She is also young enough to learn to live harmoniously with other types of pets with the appropriate training and guidance. Jaffa will bring a lot of fun to her new home and has a lot of love to give her new owners.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
