About Moon & Gizmo
Meet the dynamic duo, Moon and Gizmo! These two are a bonded pair, bringing joy and adventure wherever they go. They have a rambunctious yet affectionate relationship, and their different personalities perfectly complement each other.
Moon, (Black & White), is the extroverted half of this pair. Confident and outgoing, she never fails to make an impression. Her friendly and affectionate nature makes her a lovely companion. She loves curling up on a welcoming lap, playing around, and being around her people, but she also values her independence and loves to have her own space when she feels like it.
Then there's Gizmo (White & Ginger) who relies on Moon's guidance. Gizmo is more reserved, especially in new environments, but once he settles in and gets comfortable, he thrives. Just like Moon, he too loves curling up in a friendly lap for a snuggle and indulges in a bit of playful adventure when he's up for it.
Together, they bring two unique personalities, making life fuller and more lively. Whether it's playtime involving entertaining chasing games or a quiet evening spent in their company. They are both fine with sharing their home with a feline-friendly canine.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
