About Friskie
Hi all, we're sisters Friskie & Fiestie!
I (Fieste) was given this name because on arrival I was very much a street cat & would strike out at my foster mum.
Despite still carrying scars from my early days, she has never given up on me, & has continued to shower me in love.
I love to play and enjoy the company of small to medium sized dogs.
I am not a cuddly kitty YET! But I have made some big improvements. My foster mum can pick me up for a quick nurse.
I follow her everywhere purring crazily. I absolutely love belly rubs. When I get to know you I will come up to you & roll over so you can give me a good belly rub.
I believe I am best suited to a quieter home.
AND now it's my turn!
I'm Friskie! I was named this because when I came into care, I was a little frisky & skittish.
I still have a small tendency to react when a human approaches but instead of running to the next room I now just move out of your pathway.
While I will not jump on your lap for cuddles, you can pick me up for cuddles & I will settle and purr away for a short time. Then I get itchy feet and will want to go.
I absolutely love playing with my kitty foster siblings
My foster mum says I have to be truthful, so I must tell you I am a little impatient at dinner time. I will jump up onto the kitchen bench and try to steal dinner as it is being put in my bowl. My mum taps my bottom & tells me to get down or I won't be fed. She never means it though. This is a bad habit that I promise to overcome if you will give me the opportunity to join your family.
As I am still a bit shy, I will suit a family that is quiet and calm where I can take the time to come out of my shell.
If you are looking to add 2 purring additions to your home, I beg you to give us a chance. In time we will become the most awesome purring, cuddly kitty duo ever!
