About Turtle - Located in Preston
Hello there, hooman admirers! I'm the one and only Turtle, the dazzling calico queen on the lookout for my purr-fect forever home. Picture this: a stunning feline with a soft spot for kisses on my regal head and, of course, a weakness for delectable kitty crack. I mean, who can resist?
I'm your trusty security guard in fur. I take my neighborhood watch duties seriously, ensuring that all is right with the world from the cozy vantage point of my window perch. If you need the latest gossip, I've got it covered—just wait until you hear my tales when you get home!
Now, let's talk perks. Soft words and cheek scritches are my love language, and I'm all about creating the purr-fect ambiance in your home. Need a break from that demanding WFH life? Fear not! I'll be there to remind you to take those essential breaks—and maybe a few extra for good measure.
I'm a social butterfly, getting along famously with other cats. A dog? Sure, why not! But let's be real, I could be the sole queen ruling your heart and home with an iron paw. If you're looking for a companion who'll keep you company, share the gossip, and make sure you take those much-needed breaks, I'm your gal.
So, what are you waiting for? Unlock the secrets of the calico universe with me, Turtle, the queen of cuddles and keeper of kitty crack. Your heart—and lap—will thank you!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
