About π Opal π
Meet π Opal π, a delightful feline friend who would love to bring a touch of sparkle to your life. This elegant and playful cat adores head cuddles and frolicking with her favourite toys. Mealtimes are a joyous occasion for her especially when kibble is on the menu.
Opal values her independence and prefers strolling around on her own than being carried around by human hands. She also isn't a big fan of sudden, loud noises, so a calm abode would suit her best. Opal's humble request is for a water fountain as her regular watering trough, since she prefers lapping up cascading water over still, bowl water.
Opal enjoys a relaxing routine, spending most of her day catnapping and recharging for her fun play sessions. She loves to engage with her family for fun activities, especially in the breezy mornings and serene nights before bed. If you enjoy sharing a hair-brushing session, then Opal is ready to play the purr-fect model as she thoroughly enjoys being brushed.
If you're searching for a cat who can instil your life with tranquillity and playfulness, then π Opal π might just be the one you're looking for!
Opal would be suited to a home without young children or a resident dog.
She is not tested with cats; however, we believe she would most likely strive in a house where she is the only pet.
Please see her medical notes for more information about this gorgeous lady.
Medical notes
Opal is on a special diet.
She is an overweight cat and will be on a diet for quite a while for her to lose some weight.
She needs at attentive care and will need to have a big focus on enrichment feeding and ensuring she gets adequate exercise.
She currently weighs approx 6KG and cannot fully groom herself, so she has had part of her back shaved.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
