About Dusty - 1 Year Old Kelpie (Trial)
Dusty is one of those amazing dogs that just gets under your skin and wiggles his way into your heart. He is a 12 month old black and tan Kelpie, full of life and love and so many happy cuddles to give. If you are looking for a super happy, very smart, energetic, loyal and affectionate boy, then Dusty ticks every box…. and then some. He would love a fur brother or sister for company as he adores the company of other dogs, and loves playing chasings.
Dusty came in from a sheep property and had a very rough start to life. He has put on weight, but still has a bit to go, and will cower if someone reaches to pat him too quickly. His new owners will need to take this a little slow and be aware of his history. But he has come a long way, and he is now loving meeting new people, including kids. He loves to just hang out with his humans, and particularly loves neck scratches and belly rubs.
He does show a lot of interest in chickens, so at this stage and until further training is undertaken, he would preferably be in a home with no pocket pets, cats or chickens. He will also need secure fencing and lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
Dusty is a genuinely happy boy, who will make you smile and laugh every day. He is a an absolute gem and no doubt will bring joy to his new family.
Dusty is in foster care in Central Coast, NSW. His adoption fee is $500 and he is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
