Meet Sasha, a slender, clever, and curious girl looking for a foster home where she can continue to learn to trust humans.

Sasha grew up on the streets, and like most of those who survive the first 6 months, she ended up having kittens young. Many don't make it, but she was lucky and got rescued with her litter. Sasha's kittens grew up to be cutie pies and got adopted

When Sasha relaxes, her young age becomes evident. Sasha is curious and playful by nature. She survived on the streets because her first reaction is to hide and stay put in one place while she observes and makes up her mind, and that's the pattern she is now learning to break.

She is slowly learning to trust humans and doesn't know yet how good pats are, but she tolerates them when she's eating. It's easy to do things like flea drops and light brushing - she seems to think they feel quite nice and is likely to soon learn to like them. She loves food, toys, and playing, and it's easy to engage with her once she relaxes.

Sasha is looking for a calm and settled foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can continue her socialisation. A quiet household with older children or adults only is preferred as she will hide if there are energetic and active children in the same space. She is okay with calm dogs that don't try to approach her if she signals her boundaries. Sasha is excellent with other cats, and needs a home with a confident cat to show her how good humans are. She's been fostered in a multicat setting where she is non-confrontational, letting the other cats take the lead.
