About Marilyn SUA012099
Say hello to Marilyn, a gorgeous lady with the distinctive beauty spot that her namesake was so famous for. Much like the Hollywood icon, Marilyn is both beautiful and captivating, with her own unique brand of charm.
Delicate and a tad diva-like, Marilyn needs a bit of time to really feel settled and comfortable in a new environment. However, once she is, she's an absolute smooch. Marilyn radiates warmth and affection, but she likes it to be on her own terms; think calm petting sessions, gentle playtime and lots of 'me' time.
She prefers not to be startled or placed in a noisy home environment. A serene abode without children would suit her best, a place where she can simply be herself, and take long luxurious cat naps. Unusually for her breed, she's open to the suggestion of having another fellow feline companion in the house. It’s a kind gesture from a lady who prefers having things her way given that she is a Torti after all.
Friendly, affectionate, and adorable, Marilyn is a special lady who promises a ton of love and affection to her new family. Providing her with a calm, quiet home and a lap to curl up will surely be highly rewarded by her love and companionship.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
