Merry

Merry is an approximately 6 month old Australian Cattle Dog X.

Merry is a beautiful pup who loves to snuggle. Her favourite spot is nuzzling her cheek into your neck and resting her head on your shoulder.

Merry has come from a rural country town where she wasn't given many experiences. Even being in the house and walking down the street are very new experiences for her. She gains confidence quickly though, so with plenty of positive reinforcement and some trust building with her people, she will be a wonderful dog to take to cafes and on long walks.

For a pup, Merry is like an old soul. She will get a little excited when she first sees you, but will very quickly just sit and wait for pats. She will happily sit for pats for as long as you're willing to give them! She not jumpy or nippy or licky. Just very chilled out! If you're looking for a dog to complete a therapy course, Merry would be a great candidate!

As with most puppies, Merry still has some way to go with training and building her confidence in new situations, but she is motivated by food and so far has proven to be a fast learner. She is not yet house trained, and does seem to prefer being outside at this stage. However, she is very interested in things indoors and would do well from more exposure.

Merry loves being around other dogs and will only be rehomed with another doggy friend to show her the ropes of being a house dog. Merry is untested with cats and pocket pets, and is wonderful with kids of all ages.
