My name is Kaju and I am a 3 year old 9kg Mini Poodle.
If you’re looking for a best friend and jokester who will keep you in laughing fits and sloppy kisses all day long I am your man.
Ok, so let’s start with my adorable and very cheeky personality. As I’m a typical Poodle I absolutely will bark to alert you when a stranger is at the door. I’m such a fierce Rottweiler wanna be lol
I’m fine to not have a backyard but do love an area to have a little play and run with my toys.
Did someone say toys????
If I could live in Santa's workshop lol I would seriously be in heaven. The more toys the more I love life. I chase them. I fetch them, I hug them. I sleep with them and I worship them!!
As typical again of my breed, I’m seriously demanding of your time lol and if you don’t want to play fetch, I will force you to play until your arm drops off.
My car trips are fun for the entire family as I will sing my heart out from the time we take off until the time we get back. Forget Spotify - you don’t need it.
My fur friends include those purring mouse catchers and although I’m good to play with other dogs I think I would not be happy sharing my hoomans with them. As let’s face it, Poodles are King .
Although I simply adore hoomans, those ones in the blue scrubs (otherwise known as VETS) are not on my Christmas card list and when visiting them, they make me take a tablet to calm me down first and wear one of those anti biting things (I think it’s called a muzzle).
My favorite thing in the WORLD next to playing fetch is going out on the town and catching up with what’s happening in the neighborhood. My daily walk is just the BEST thing in the world. I strut my stuff showing off my “ripped” Poodle physique and how amazing I am on the lead. I do sometimes bark at other dogs while on my walk but that’s just to make sure they are looking at how adorable I am.
Now I am 100% or actually 1000% an indoor dog. I’m fully house trained and never destructive. So I really am an excellent boy.
Did someone say food
Where is my gourmet meal. Give me give me Yum yum is tucker time
I am excited once I see my food bowl filled with deliciousness. I eat a raw diet consisting of Prime kangaroo and pumpkin . As well as Big Dog pet foods - for the sensitive soul. I enjoy my meals at breakfast and dinner time

Grooming
I like to see my hair looking good and but hate being groomed lol when I have my groom sessions with my groomer who comes to my house every 6-8 weekly’s so that I can keep up with looking fresh and spunky. Poodles are king and we must look good
Medical
No here is where you need to really understand my needs
When I came into the rescue my skin was HORRIBLY infected all over my body from untreated allergies in which I seem to have .. Typical of my breed unfortunately
It's taken my carers and vets 5 months to get my skin all cleared up as it was so red but now we have it under control and I am on a raw food Kangaroo diet mix and a Cyder point injection every 6 weeks or so as needed.
I have ear drops once a week to ensure I don't have ear flare ups anymore and this will probably need to be continued for ever
I'm so very lucky to have been cared for by such awesome people and do need my new family to be sure that they keep an eye on me just incase my skin flares up again over time and gets me treated

My ideal home would be a home with my favorite hoomans who I can have all to myself and be treated like royalty as I’m a king Poodle. A home filled with my favorite toys so I can play all day. I would like my hoomans to be around a lot but do understand when you must go out. As long as I have my toys I can entertain myself and as soon as I see my hooman is home I get excited and ready to play fetch. I love having someone near me. I’m okay with children but can be a little excited so maybe no hoomans too young. As long as I have my toys and my daily walk I don’t need a big yard as I can entertain myself and you by playing fetch.
I would be fine with a home with cats as they are ok but although I tolerate dogs im definitely the king of the home so prefer to have you all to myself
