I am currently on holidays and of all my cats (my own and my fosters â I actually miss her the most, truly) How this gorgeous girl has slowly TRANSFORMED is nothing short of remarkable. Donât get me wrong, she still needs to partner up with the RIGHT special person. She will CHOOSE you (and I will approve of course). I think she would be best suited to a quiet home, a younger to middle age single person or couple, probably a home without kids but possibly an older mature child who could take direction otherwise they could miss her cues. She doesnât love dogs at all, so best to avoid.
EVERY DAY and I mean every DAY, she gets on the bed with me, morning and night and sometimes whilst I am sleeping and comes is to nook on me and kiss me, she also likes it when I rub her teeth (weird and funny!) She of all the cats I have is the most affectionate cat I have who really appreciates human affection but on her terms. She is also very playful and plays by herself with her ball toys, she loves them. I do have to be careful where I touch the young lady but I know her so well now to know just what to do!
The trick is, she has bonded with me, and this has taken a couple of months to occur, but I have invested in her and she in me. Sadly, most people would not be willing to provide her with the time and patience she would need for her to trust you. She is now slowing coming around to my husband as well who she also lets him sleep in our bed đhaha! So, if you are not willing to invest time and love into her, then Tigerlily wouldnât choose you, it is best if you stop reading this ad for her. I sit and have coffee with her in the mornings, clean out her crate (this is her safe space that she likes to stay in sometimes) do my daily language lesson and just start my day with her, she loved that and eventually made my way to my bed!
There are a couple of other cats at my home that she really doesnât mind and a couple that she does mind. I think she would be best suited to a single cat household (if you wanted her to be obsessed with you!) or even paired up with another cat she got on with. Zoey in my home who is also up for adoption is a good fit with her. They are both quiet, sweet girls that just get on with each other.
When I first met her, I thought I was out of my depth as she is what many would call âspicyâ as she hissed and lashed out at me â I was shocked but soon realised that it was because she was scared. It has been a good several months before I decided I could share this beauty with a prospective adopter and now I finally feel ready to do that. She has totally changed, still some progress to be made but with the right person, she will have you wrapped about your finger just like me.
Contact us for a meet and greet today! And be readyâŠ..she will keep you on your toes!

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you donât have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what youâre looking for in a feline companion. The next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24-hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two-week settling-in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack that contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
