MY PROFILE: Ada is the tortie lover's dream kitty!
She's full of tortitude but that's layered with extreme sweetness. She's been waiting too long for her forever home!
She's highly intelligent and learned her name quickly. She's the perfect combination of independence and affection.
She's become the queen of the house in foster care and doesn't mind bossing around the others.
She loves to play but is also happy to laze around. She has one of the loudest purrs I have heard and one night it woke me up thinking 'where on earth is that coming from?!' - she had sneaked into the bedroom and was curled up asleep in the curtain.
She likes cuddles, pats and chin scratches but on her terms…she is a tortie after all and likes her independence.
She would enjoy a kitty companion and loves her foster sister Matilda (Tildy) if you’re looking for two. They are yin and yang - so different but perfectly balanced. She is not a fan of dogs at all!
Ada would suit a single person or couple or a family with respectful older kids, might not tolerate littlies smothering her.

Our Adoption Fees are as follows:
· Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
· Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
· Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
· Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
This also includes:
· A take home pack for your kitty
· We transfer the Change of Ownership, free of charge into your name

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
