About Chester
*In foster care in Clovelly, Sydney*
Shy but incredibly curious, Chester is revealing more of his personality every day! While he may hold back a bit on first meeting, the right environment and a patient approach have worked wonders since he's arrived in foster care :)
Feather toys and balls are guaranteed to bring out Chester's playful side, while Dine creamy treats are a big help in coaxing out contented purrs! When tired after a long play session, he becomes a sweet and affectionate little man.
Like all Maggie's pets, Chester is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be calm and supportive, with an understanding human or humans who'll let me be myself. I'll thrive in a home where I can gradually build trust and continue to come out of my shell. This will help me feel confident, safe and loved.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Once I'm comfortable in my new pad, watch out! I enjoy running around batting my toys in the air, carrying them in my mouth and playing chase with humans or other pets. You could describe me as the purrfect mix of quiet composure and cheeky charm!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great, I reckon - the more people to play with, the better! - as long as kids understand and respect my need for space when I seek it. Because I can be a bit nervous at first, a slow and patient introduction would be best so we all have a positive experience.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: A home with feline friends would be a huge bonus!
I haven't met any dogs at this stage, but if I'm allowed to get used to the idea gradually it might be OK.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
