Taking Joints Supplements /AntinolRapid as preventative measure as she is over 8yo.
BACKGROUND
She was surrendered to Local Melbourne Pound from what was said to be a loving family home however due to illness they couldn't look after her anymore. Ranger immediately noticed she was struggling with her breathing. Sadly, after vet assessment, we think she was likely used for breeding until her age meant she could no longer do so. Some skin marks and other Signs suggest she likely has spent most of her time outside.
TIPS didn't have the nicest start, due to her breed she required vital BOAS surgery ideally when she was young in order to improve her breathing & overall quality of life however unfortunately her prev family did not do this and now TIPS is 8yo .
And sadly, due to this, She arrived into our care with collapsed larynx due to prolonged struggle with her breathing went unaddressed.
TIPS immediately received BOAS Brachycephalic Obstruction Airway Syndrome Surgery with one of the best vet in Melbourne Progressive Vet Care w Dr.Elita you can read our post about this here 👇👇👇

thankfully it went very well and she now has a new lease in life ! however this also means TIPS isn't allowed to be exercised or walked like normal dogs to avoid panting too much.
WHAT NOW? After 4 months of rehabilitation, TIPS is now ready for retirement life of her own. She is looking for her forever family to lounge around with THAT is the dream life for TIPS.😉😇🙂 She adores people and trully a great companion at home and in the car !
She loves adventuring in the car, even if it's just to the corner shop.
Tips' Loves:
Her Ball ⚾️⚽️🏀🏐
People🧏♀️🧏♂️🧏🙋
Car Rides🚗🚘
Other dogs 🐶*can be excited & a bit boisterous in the beginning* TIPS is best matched with similar size dogs, mature well mannered and well socialised dogs.
She has made friends with some fur friends🐶🐶🐕🦮🦁since being in our care.
Oh And she LOVESSS Air Conditioning 😉❄️🧊
🧒👦👪She has shown gentleness and calmness around dog savy kids *however due to her size , best match is with kids above 10yo that are dog savy around big dogs.
🤓Tips knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, leave it, drop it, and come as well as being respectful of furniture and doorways.
UNTESTED WITH CATS🐈 so we are looking for a home without cats.
Tips is never happier than when she has a ball to play with, while a tennis ball won't last long tougher more durable toys will keep this girl entertained for hours. She will happily throw it to herself and show off those boxer skills as she jumps around the house or garden after it😊😁😄
She is quite independent too , no problem being left alone at home. You'll find her snoozing allllll day long indoor 😆😁😄😊
A social butterfly! 😊🙂🥰Tips has loved everyone she has met while in care, and we mean EVERYONE. People visiting the house, those we meet on walks and at the local pub or cafe too, this lady just loves a pat.
Tips also loves car🚘🚗 rides, she is never happier than being by your side she loves to come along on errands or trips to the office or on Holidays.
A 15 minute gentle daily walk on a cool day is enough for this girl. Access to a good sized secure garden throughout the day might even be enough too. You won't see her demanding a walk. Very easy going chill girl.
⚠️Tips cannot be exposed to high heat for risk of overheating so she MUST have access to air conditioned spaces during the hotter days. Anything above 25 degrees is already very warm for TIPS. This is non-negotiable for our special girl. You cannot leave her outside when you are not home⚠️
🛌 SHE IS FULLY INDOOR. She takes herself to bed in the living room at 8:30pm each night and sleeps through without toilet breaks until the morning.
A family with flexible working from home lifestyle or those that fully work from home will be ideal for TIPS.
She is on a premium diet of human grade cooked veggies with prime100 rolls or human grade low fat mince beef, kangaroo , lamb and complementary premium kibbles with joints benefit.

Adoption details
We have a mandatory house inspection
Shortlisted adopters will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet with the pet and the foster family. **Depending on our foster's availability . We welcome multiple meets, and urge all family members to attend the meet incld if you have existing pet, a proper meet with your existing pet is a must.
Once contacted for a meet & greet, assuming everything goes well and you are a good match for the pet and vice versa, our adoption process is short and can be finalised pretty quick , between 7 to 14 days you can bring your newly adopted pet home.
We require all adopters to pick up their newly adopted pet, rather than us dropping the pet to you, this is to avoid abandonment trauma towards the pet.
We do follow-ups throughout the life of the animal, adopter must be available to provide updates when required , specifically during the 1st 3 months post adoption
You MUST complete our adoption form before we can arrange a meet with the pet you are applying for.
We believe every pet choose their human/home🙏 beyond ensuring each pet is matched with the right home & family that can meet their needs , we also look for signs of true connection between you & the pet you are interested in adopting.
All Adoptions incld vet certificates for desex vaccination and any other relevant vet notes /history .
These documents will only be given to the confirmed adopter once an adoption agreement has been finalised.
We aim to ensure all adopted pet to never be returned, abandoned or surrendered to a pound again so we ask you, In the event that you are unable to care for the animal anymore, you must contact us to seek verbal advice.
Having a pet is a lifetime commitment so It is important that you consider who will be helping you with your newly adopted pet, should you become unavailable or need help down the track .
Some animals will require mandatory enrollment to professional training/behaviorist - this will be noted on the animal's profile & adoption agreement, we will require proof of enrollment before we are able to complete the adoption process/transfer of ownership.
