About Delilah
Introducing Delilah, a loyal and vocal dog who promises a life full of excitement and companionship. Delilah is full of charm and energy, always ready for exercise and play. However, initially, when you meet Delilah she is a little bit shy at the start with people but will come up approach you, and sniff you. Delilah does defensive bark at times but once someone takes her for a walk she is a lot more friendly with them.
She needs a slow introduction to new people and allow her to approach them, don’t force interactions. Doesn’t enjoy affection from humans until she knows you then will actively seek it out.
Rest assured though, Delilah thrives on familiarity and trust. She needs a tender, slow introduction to new people, and it’s beneficial to let her approach you first, allowing her to initiate interactions at her own pace. Once a strong bond is established which wont take long, Delilah transforms into an affectionate companion who enjoys the company and attention of her beloved human friends.
A naturally vocal dog, Delilah expresses her emotions through various sound signals. Whether it’s a quiet whine or a joyful bark, each noise she makes is a part of her unique language.
Deliliah does have some skin issues that will be ongoing, which can be managed with specific food and medication when she has a skin flare up.
Due to her size and strength, Delilah is looking for a home that has experience with large breeds and is able to control a strong exited dog on the lead.
Delilah is looking for a home with children older than 15, a quite home that will help her settle in and become the most amazing family dog.
Delilah is looking forward to her new journey and can’t wait for a loving home where she can hunker down, feeling safe and cherished. So, if you’re ready for a loyal friend who can brighten up your life with her enthusiasm, Delilah could just be the pup for you!
