Oatis - 9 Week Old Kelpie X Ridgeback (Trial)

Oatis is a 9 week old, Male, Kelpie/Ridgeback Cross puppy.

Oatis is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Oatis will grow up to be a medium to large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Oatis. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time or can make the time to ensure regular social interaction and exercise.

Oatis is currently living full-time outside with his mum, dad and brother. He has endured storms and fireworks with no issues and thrives being outdoors. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children of any age. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Oatis’s sibling Minty is also available for adoption.

Oatis’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. Oatis currently has a Grade 2 Heart Murmur that will be re checked at 16 weeks. The vet has said it should go away on its own.

Oatis is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
