About Wispy
If you are interested in Wispy, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Introducing Wispy, an incredibly loving and easy-going dog you'll quickly fall in love with. With a personality that's ready to shower you in affection, you'll find her big licks and friendly demeanor completely irresistible.
Wispy is an adorable hound, adaptable to both apartments and houses. She's comfortable living with other medium-sized breed dogs, especially her fellow Greyhounds. She also gets along well with any Labradors and would be happy in a home that's ready for a furry addition.
Being an independent soul, Wispy is perfectly fine with a bit of alone time, but she appreciates a well-prepared environment that helps keep her out of any mischief.
Are you a food lover? So is Wispy. Her eyes will light up at meal times, and she’ll happily gobble up whatever treat you have to offer. This will come in handy for further training with her.
When it comes to walks, her lead manners are great. She does get a bit excited if she sees something interesting in the distance and may give a little jump, but she's rapidly learning to control her enthusiasm.
Fortunately, house training is a breeze with Wispy; she's already toilet trained and unlike other greyhounds, would also go out in the rain without any problems.
Wispy will benefit from an adopter that has a little experience with dogs as she needs a bit of extra training to be the best dog she can be – but trust us, she’s worth it!
If you're looking for a dog who embodies sweetness and charm, Wispy could very well be your perfect match.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
