Baloo

Baloo is such a special boy, looking for a really special home. He is a clever boy who loves cuddling and playing with his human, which is truly amazing considering his awful start to life.
Baloo came to Forever Friends as an absolute shell of a dog. He was frozen with fear and terrified of touch.

With time, love and kindness he has blossomed, and his beautiful nature is shining through, but he still has some fears to work on, which is where you come in!

Baloo loves spending time with his humans. For the last 3 months, he has had his humans with him half of the day. He can stay alone happily for 5–6 hours, but a full day alone every day may be too much.

He can be shy to start, but when he feels comfortable, he is cuddly and funny and a bit stubborn too 😉
He is a very clever boy who learns fast and is eager to please. In only 3 months of healthy interaction, he has learned “ sit, down, crawl, and come”. He walks very well on the lead, and he loves his walks! He is still a bit scared of traffic and people, and he may not enjoy a very busy area. He had some interaction with other dogs, but he may be more comfortable as a solo dog. He does love cats, so a confident cat could work well!!

Baloo is currently on the anxiety medication, Fluoxetine, which is an econimical drug that can be dispensed at pharmacies.
