About Bossy
Bossy by name, but not by nature; this polite and gentle boy is more than happy for his humans to take charge!
An easygoing snoozer, Bossy is a big fan of the sleep in (and early morning cuddles), and according to his foster carers he "just wants to play, and get his little face and ears rubbed". When he is trying to entice you into a game of chasey, he'll give you the ol' razzle dazzle with some fancy footwork from his tippy tappy toes - or he may even treat you to his speciality, a winning combination of face planting right into you while play bowing!
Bossy just loves a zoom, and a session with the flirt pole, so would thrive with a yard for fun and games. He's also become quite anxious about being barked at by other dogs, so is having a bit of trouble getting out and about on big walks, he prefers to stay close to home base while he is working on his confidence. A calm and social hound in the home would do wonders for showing him there's nothing to be afraid of.
A super smarty pants, Bossy has mastered "on your bed" and "touch", and he is unfazed by the vacuum cleaner, storms, and fireworks! He's not too sure about loud children though, so would prefer an adult only home - and is still learning to be brave alone, so would prefer some reassuring company (human or hound).
With his expressive face and beautiful temperament, Bossy is sure to make a wonderful addition to a home with a little patience and a lot of love.
No small dogs or cats.
No children under six.
No full time workers unless some working from home so the dog is not left home alone more than 4 hours on a regular basis.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
