About Wally
**AVAILABLE FOR MEET AND GREETS SATURDAY 13/01 AT OUR SHELTER FROM 9.00AM-4.00PM**
Found stuck in a wall, this little man has had a difficult start to life.
He was hungry and scared, with no sign of siblings or mum anywhere nearby. Luckily SES staff were able to free him, and he came into our care to help get back on track! Wally is a quirky little guy who loves life and exploring all it has to offer. He thinks toys are absolutely fabulous and furniture is perfect for parkour. He also loves having another cat to play with and would be best suited to living with another playful cat or kitten.
Due to his lack of socialization before coming into care, he can be wary of people to start with. Though he takes a few days to warm to someone, once he knows you he can be the biggest smooch ever!
In the mornings when he sees you he demands constant pats and love, with lots of face boops and kisses. If you even think to stop before he's ready he will squeak insistently and demand more love. When he is Jekyll he is an absolute love machine. Wally's Hyde persona comes when he has gotten his fill of affection and is ready to play. Hands become the perfect snack and are the best target for any attacks. Legs passing by are the perfect opportunity for him to launch and grab onto to climb. Due to this he will need a home without young children, and somewhere he is able to learn that humans are not giant toys to help stop these behaviors before he gets too big.
Wally loves company but is also good at independent play. He would suit a quieter household as he can startle easily, but definitely thrives in the company of another playful cat. He has been around dogs and is slowly gaining confidence, so may be able to live with one if they are calm.
