About Bingo
Introducing Bingo, a three-year-old male Dachshund that's as cute as a button, filled to the brim with potential and ready to fill a new home with love. Bingo might be a bit timid at first, but with a little patience and understanding, you'll be able to give him the confidence to come out of his shell and truly shine. He has been tested with cats and was frightened of them but that is in a shelter environment, he maybe different in a home.
Bingo would thrive in a female household. Past experiences have made him a bit apprehensive around men, making a lady-led house the best fit for this fur-friend. He has a delicate temperament that requires gentleness and an understanding of his emotional needs. So if you are a woman looking for a loyal companion, Bingo is a fantastic choice.
This little doggo is still learning the ropes when it comes to walks. He tolerates his leash and collar but just needs a soft nudge of encouragement to start exploring the outdoors on foot. Daily, short, and gentle walks coupled with lots of praise can do wonders!
Bingo’s ideal home is a peaceful and serene environment. He would do well in a calmer, quieter setting where he can take the time to open up and learn to trust. Therefore, he would suit an older person or couple, or a household without young children.
Winning over Bingo’s heart might take a little patience and a lot of love, but we guarantee that it will be worth it. This sweet boy has plenty of love to give and is just waiting for the right family to share it with. If you think that could be you, please get in touch with us to meet Bingo!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
