About Tucker
Meet Tucker, a charming pony, social in nature, playful and intelligent, making him an ideal companion for an experienced horse owner, preferably one accustomed to young, energetic horses. Tucker is quick to learn and is full of curiosity.
Tucker has a slightly dominant personality who thrives in the right environment. Ideally, he’d be a part of a home with another playful gelding who is a little bigger in size, not solely for company but for learning essential social skills as well. Tucker has a fearlessness that resonates in his sometimes-rough play, however this stems from a place of joy and excitement, rather than aggression. Tucker is simply a young gelding who’s brimming with life, ready to experience all its wonders.
Tucker is food motivated but would also benefit greatly from positive reinforcement training method like clicker training. Tucker is still developing and learning to respect boundaries more and more each day.
While Tucker is safe to be around and enjoys a good pat, he’s still navigating the world of safe play and interaction with humans. Whilst Tucker is not suitable around children at this stage, given a little time and maturity, he may well be the perfect family horse. For now, children can interact with him over the fence, as he’s completely comfortable and friendly in this scenario.
In a nutshell, Tucker has a big heart and awaiting the right guidance to shine his brightest. If you’re an experienced horse carer able to fuel Tuckers growth, he could be the perfect addition to your family.
