About Archer
**Please note, Archer is available for meet and greets Monday-Friday only**
Meet the beloved Archer.
Archer is looking for an active family with a big backyard who can take him on nice long daily walks where he can get all his energy out! When he's hanging out at home he will need plenty of enrichment toys like puzzle feeders and Kongs to keep him busy. He'll need an indoor lifestyle and not to be kept outside as he is a bit of a Houdini and adores human company!
Archer is a little unsure about handling and gets a little overwhelmed by it, so his new family will need to be 16 years or older while his family helps him build confidence.
He is also a little uncomfortable around dogs and will need to be the only furry friend in the house so he can have all the love and attention to himself!
My distant relatives were swift hunting dogs that tracked down rabbits in packs, so I guess I'm pre-programmed to want to explore and sniff the world with regular exercise and a thirst for adventure.
Archer is a clever boy who loves treats, is super good at sitting, and is doing well learning "drop"! his new family will need to continue His training to keep that big brain occupied! For this reason, Archer would benefit from living with a family who doesn't work full-time and has someone home more often than not.
Archer's new family will need to continue his positive, force-free training, and allow him time to become comfortable in his new home. Our wonderful trainers will continue to support his new family post-adoption, to help him succeed in transiting into a new home.
If you think you could give Archer the dream life he's been looking for, come in to meet him today!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
