Meet Rez, a sweet & loving young man who is looking for his forever home! 💛

He came into care quite timid & unsure of the big world after not having the kindest of starts to life. His beautiful & kind spirit shines through despite the few minor scars he carries.

Rez is looking for a home with people aged 13+ who are dog savvy. He would prefer someone to be home more often than not & will thrive even more off having a doggy friend of a mature or chilled nature in the home.

He is very well toilet trained, sits quietly & respectfully while you eat & sleeps through the night. When he is not being a couch potato or sitting at your feet while you work he is playing with his 1 & only favourite toy… the tennis ball. He would be best suited to a medium-big backyard with plenty of room to run around.

He prefers a moderately quiet home environment as loud bangs or sudden noises within aren’t his thing. Upon coming home he likes to greet you with some funny little spins of excitement & then likes to put his mouth around your hand/arm to show affection. We tend to ignore his excitement & wait till his has settled to then say hello to him. This is the only reason why I say he is suited to a 13+ home.

As he is still young & energetic, he will require someone committed to ongoing training. Rez will need plenty of enrichment to keep him occupied (tough lick mats, bully sticks, snuffle mats).
He is good on a leash (no harnesses) but is very cautious of the cars passing by & noisy streets which is something he will need help working on. He loves to get in the car & is a dream during car rides but doesn’t want to get out, so he will need someone able to assist him.
