Nito is a sweet boy that is timid in nature. Anything can pose as scary where he'll shy away until he builds his confidence.
For his age, he's a very bright boy, listens intently to human command and is a quick learner.
Nito is currently crate trained and knows it as "bed".

Nito spends his days playing, discovering, sleeping (and snoring!), eating and getting cuddles.

With the support of his mentor resident dogs (aka, grumpy old farts) Nito is currently working on:
- Toilet training. He hasn't had an accident inside in the last week. He follows the resident dogs when they go out to toilet. Though given his age, Nito requires ongoing training and support to master this skill.
- Entering inside. Nito is learning that rushing inside when a door is opened is not polite. Nito has observed the resident dogs waiting till the command is given to enter, and he follows.
- Jumping on people is also not polite. If he wants attention and pats, he gives "that look" where you can't help but give a snuggle.
- Not to touch the washing on the clothes line.

Nito will require ongoing formal training to be the best boy he can be. As said above, he's a quick learner, so he'll be top of the class in no time.

Overall, Nito has been wonderful to have in care. He has given our family a barrel of laughs and we'll miss him dearly.
