Introducing our marvelous Maremma, Callie!

This sweet little lady ended up at our shelter lost and alone but is now ready to take over your heart and home!

This little lady lives up to being a Maremma and can be quite aloof when meeting new people for the first time so will need a home of adults only (16+) who can give her the time and space she needs. Due to her young age aswell she would greatly benefit from some force-free training to help her work on her skills.

Callie has shown some great behaviours around other dogs while with us here so may be suitable to live with another well-matched dog pending a meet and greet here at the shelter, please make sure you bring them along to the shelter with you to meet her before she can go home!

Callie being a maremma is born to guard livestock and so will need to go home to a farm or a spacious property with a big outdoor area for her, but will also need to be welcomed inside the home to be part of the family.
