About Snacks
Snacks is a next level sweet Cattle Dog! Her gentle nature can only be rivalled by her adorable looks and everyone that meets her falls head over heels.
As her name might suggest, Snacks is partial to a snack, making training a breeze and being a young influential puppy means training is a must so she can grow to be a well rounded, good canine citizen! Snacks also really loves a snuggle and is incredibly affectionate, whether she's cuddled up to her humans or the other dogs in the home, she doesn't mind, she just loves to love and be loved in return.
Snacks is crate trained, sleeping soundly through the night and is very polite about her early morning wake ups, her house training is going well and she is picking up new skills on the daily. Being a working breed, Snacks will continue to grow into an energetic, intelligent girl who will require an active, engaged family to give her the life she deserves.
MY IDEAL HOME: Snacks is looking for a family that are active, fun, love adventuring and also really love to curl up on the couch with a dog by their side! She is quite sensitive for a cattle dog, so her ideal family will be invested in continuing to build her confidence and socialising her in lots of different environments.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Snacks is only a baby so she isn't 'full strength' just yet but it's safe to say she will be a very active dog, that will require at least one good daily adventure.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Snacks currently lives with a dog savvy kid and is great, she's likely suited to kids 5 and up.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Snacks lives in a multi dog household and adores playing, wrestling and snuggling with her dog pals. She can be slightly nervous of bigger / unknown dogs but with continued exposure and careful socialisation, she will do well. She hasn't met any cats but would be fine with a proper intro!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
