About Ragnar
Meet Ragnar, a distinguished 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, clad in a coat of elegant grey with a proud white chest.
Ragnar's tale is one of change, not by choice, but by circumstance. He finds himself in need of a new home through our assisted rehoming scheme, as his original family, faced with unforeseen challenges, can no longer provide the care and love he deserves. Ragnar is in need of a swift transition to a new chapter, one where his gentle grey presence fills the room with warmth and joy.
Ragnar, adorned in a coat of dignified grey with a crisp white chest, is a beacon of hope, patiently waiting for the warmth of a forever home. His eyes, the colour of the stormy sea, hold tales of the past and dreams of a future filled with love. Ragnar's journey may have been filled with uncertainties, but his loyalty and love for belly scratches and a spirited game of tug o' war remain unwavering.
With a heart as vast as the open skies, Ragnar understands that life is a continuous learning experience. His eagerness to please is matched only by his determination to refine his manners. Jumping up and leash etiquette are on the list of skills he's ready to master, and he invites you to join him on this journey of growth and discovery.
Ragnar's idea of bliss is simple – laying gracefully in the sun, his grey coat glistening like silver, a picture of serenity and contentment. Staffies, renowned for their ability to find joy in the smallest moments, have a way of turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures. Ragnar's infectious smile, framed against the contrast of his grey fur, is a portrait of joy waiting to be shared.
While Ragnar may not have encountered the laughter of children or the camaraderie of other dogs, he is open to the possibility of expanding his social horizons. With patience and positive encouragement, Ragnar is ready to embrace the new experiences and connections that a loving family can offer.
Are you prepared to be the chapter in Ragnar's story that transforms his world? If you're a kindred spirit with an appreciation for gentle giants, belly rubs, and the unique charm of a grey-coated Staffy, Ragnar is waiting for you. Adopt Ragnar, and let the shades of grey in your life be filled with the vibrant colours of unconditional love.
Medical notes
Vaccinations, desexing, microchip, and heartworm checks are provided by the rescue.
If there is outstanding vet work, the rescue will organise it with one of their partner vets. If the adopter would like to take over the vet work at their own cost to their own vet, this can be transferred.
Adoption details
Adoption process:
A flexible process with the dog's best interest in mind always.
1. Phone interview to assess suitability
2. Application forms filled in
3. Meet & greet with the potential dog
4. House check
5. As many meet & greets till all parties feel comfortable to proceed to adoption
After the dog comes into your care, we stay in very close contact for the first few weeks until everyone is comfortable and then we transfer the microchip. If there is outstanding vet work to be done we will complete this before transferring the microchip.
