My rescue story.
Hello everyone, my name is Sparky and for anyone that doesn’t realise how important the world of animal rescue is, well I can tell you I would not be here without those people working tirelessly to help us.
While still in my mum’s tummy I was scheduled for euthanasia. How awful is that? The world (and you) would have missed out of my delightful charms and my ability to bring smiles to peoples faces and hearts.
I have 3 brothers and one sister, and I also very happily share my space with another litter of kittens so it’s fair to say I am cat friendly. I do love a lap, so if yours is available I’ll be sure to pop on to it a have a nice little shut eye. My mum is a beautiful natured cat and she showered us with love and affection and I share her affectionate nature.
You will see from my pictures that I do a mean kangaroo impression while I am trying to reach those pesky toys on a stick that our foster mum has. Got to love those dangling toys, and I don’t mean to brag, but I can stand the tallest of all my foster family to get them. Just asking, but do you have those dangling toys at your place? Maybe I could come over and I could show you may expert skills?
PLEASE NOTE: WEEKEND MEET AND GREETS ONLY DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
