Danidara is a calm friendly boy who gets on well with people and with other dogs (and even with dog savvy cats). He is more of a staffy than a lab with a short stocky build and that great staffy smile. He’s very relaxed around the house, he is well behaved inside and he almost never barks. He generally takes treats very gently from your hand. Danidara answers to his name with a wagging tail and a grin; he will sometimes come and ask nicely for a pat and a cuddle. He is completely toilet trained.

He shares his home happily with several other foster dogs and gets along with them all. Though, he is not really a cat lover, he listens to commands and knows to leave my cat alone when the cat strolls out of his part of the house to check the dogs out. Danidara just loves to go for a drive, gets in and out of the car on command and is a very calm passenger; he does not bark inside the car.

Outside, he walks nicely on a lead most of the time, but can sometimes get excited when he is eager to get going. He tends to ignore strange dogs when he is out for a walk but at the dog park, he will bark through the fence initially at the dogs next door and then ignore them. More training should correct both of these habits; Being a young dog he would respond very well to formal obedience training.

Danidara is a lovely affectionate dog who would ideally love a family with older children and room to run around and play. Also with someone who has the time and energy to continue with his ongoing training.
