About Monty
Meet Monty,
This young man is a retired racing greyhound who is now ready to spend the rest of his life as a family pet.
Monty is a friendly, cheeky boy who just wants to please his humans.
He knows basic commands and walks well on lead.
He has spent most his life outside and in a dog run, so it will take him a little while to pick up on home life, and will need some practice with his toilet training. But have no fear, as he is a smart boy who will pick up on this quickly.
Monty loves humans, even the little ones! He also is good with medium to large dogs.
Because he was a race dog, small dogs, cats and pocket pets he isn't great with.
This may be something he gets better with over time and with training though.
Enquire now if you're interested in fostering or adopting this sweet boy!
Medical notes
Monty got a small chip in one of his leg bones while racing, this does not effect him as a pet though!
He hasn't raced since 2022 and has not had any leg issues since retiring.
