Dart

Dart and his brother Dash are two nearly identical, and quite young, boys who were dumped at a local pet shop. They are available for adoption together to add to an existing Guinea pig, or as a pair. Guinea pigs should never be kept as a single animal so we are looking for a home for both.

They are currently too young to desex but they will come with a Desexing voucher as part of the adoption fee that can be redeemed in the Shoalhaven at one of our participating vets.

If kept together two male Guinea pigs need a minimum floor area of around 1m2.

The outdoor Guinea pig hutches that are regularly sold online and in pet stores are not suitable unless they have a large run of some sort added to them to take the ground level floor space to 1m2. If kept in a two small cage Guinea pigs will fight. Kept in the correct size cage they will be great friends and be able to run and "popcorn" happily.
