About Dougie
Introducing Dougie!
Dougie is a French Bulldog born 7th April 2018.
Doug was the victim of a relationship break up. He and his fur sibling stayed with one of the owners, however they weren't able to keep both dogs. Dougie was then left with his other owner who unfortunately wasn't able to get rental permission to keep him. His surrender profile states he is house trained & travels well in the car. He hasn't been around young children so they're not sure how he would go with them. It also says he can be selective with his doggy friends & he doesn't like cats.
Dougie tested well with other dogs but showed absolutely no interest in them. He approached & sniffed them, then instantly moved on.
If you have a friendly dog at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Doug has shown no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression towards humans while being at the facility.
Doug's adoption fee is $800 and includes his desexing and lifetime registration.
Doug is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Doug, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Dougie is looking forward to meeting you and he is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
