About Earl
Meet Earl,
This young man was found as a stray in rural QLD and wound up in a pound on death row.
Since coming into care Earl has slowly been coming around to being a pet. His hiding spot and safe space is under his foster carers bed. If you go into his safe space he will hiss at you.
When he's comfortable he'll happily wander around the room while you're in there, especially if he knows its food time.
Earl will accept ALL the pats when he is getting his food. He especially loves a scratch just above the tail or behind the ears.
Earl enjoys sitting on the windowsill and watching the birds outside. He even does little chirps at them.
He also loves the company of other cats, and will use them as reassurance whe he is unsure. So a home with 1 or 2 other cats is a must!
Recently Earl has started snuggling on the bed with his foster mum, but only if she doesn't make eye contact, sudden movements or attempt to pat him 🙊
Earl isn't a fan of dogs and wouldn't suit a home with kids under 12.
Earl is looking for a patient home, where his new people will continue to let him learn to trust humans at his own pace.
For a spitting, stomping, hissy stray, Earl has sure come a long way in just 6 weeks to a new timid, but curious boy who chirps, meows and purs when he's happy.
Enquire now if you think you can provide Earl with his perfect forever home!
