About Poppy
This gorgeous 11 year old Ragdoll was surrendered to Ninth Life Foundation in December 2023. She was traumatised when she first arrived but in time her true self emerged showing us her affectionate, loving & gentle nature. We were all so happy in March 2024 when she got adopted into what we thought was her forever home.
In the middle of August 2024 she was re-surrendered to NLF for inappropriately urinating on her owners balcony because the owner refused to give her a litter tray 🫨 😡 We were all so angry & devastated that she had been let down by an irresponsible owner who wasn’t taking care of her basic needs. She is now being showered with love & care again by all at NLF and we are determined to find her the loving forever home that she so deserves.
She needs the patient touch of a caring person to help her blossom after the trauma she has been through. She longs for a home where understanding hearts can provide the comfort she seeks. Poppy is not suited for a household with young children as she requires a calm and patient environment to gradually rebuild trust and feel secure.
If you are ready to open your heart to a mature feline companion and can offer the understanding and patience that Poppy needs at this time, please get in touch with us at info@ninthlifefoundation.org if you are interested in arranging a meeting.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends please either call 4314 6654 or contact info@ninthlifefoundation.org.
