About Freddy
Hold on to your hats folks.
Its time to find Freddy his forever family.
Freddy is the sweetest little man who has everyone talking when they see him.
His new family needs to be prepared to be stopped by strangers regularly to be asked about him.
Luckily Freddy is a laid-back and friendly little man who thoroughly enjoys all the attention he brings.
We were informed that he is actually a Chihuahua x staffy and is about 18 months old.
He has very short legs and a chunky body – he is on the larger side of small weighing in at 11kg.
He is a compact little barrel of love, fun and smiles.
Calm, placid and just so easy to have around.
He has a smile that lights up the room and it rarely leaves his face – he has a total love of life and just oozes happiness.
Freddy loves everyone and hasn’t met a dog or person he doesn’t like – he hasn’t met a cat yet before you ask.
He is super affectionate and adores cuddles.
Playing in the yard is something he loves to do, and he really enjoys a game of fetch.
Freddy needs and thrives on company – he will not do well left alone all day – nor will he cope being an outside dog.
Freddy wants to be part of the family and he deserves one that will make him their world.
He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with his worming and flea treatments.
He is located in foster care at Bellmere, North of Brisbane and his adoption fee is $595

At The Mini Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
